The exhibition Hareng Saur: Ensor and Contemporary Art, a unique collaboration between the Ghent Museum of Fine Arts (MSK) and the Museum of Contemporary Art (S.M.A.K.), opens on 30 October.
It is our pleasure to invite you to the festive opening taking place in both museums. The reception will be held at S.M.A.K., Citadelpark, Ghent, from 14.00 - 18.00.
This exhibition opens to the general public at 2pm with a performance by the Belgian artist Jozef Legrand, and will run in both museums from 31 October 2010 to 27 February 2011. Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 6pm.
Join the parade
On the opening day of Hareng Saur, the Master will exchange his stylish residence in the MSK for a temporary residence in the S.M.A.K.. Feel free to accompany Ensor during this crossover by joining the festive, artistic procession led by Belgian artist Jozef Legrand, and have the chance of receiving an exclusive certificate of participation.
